Devils Backbone Wilderness
Devils Backbone Wilderness covers more than 6,600 acres. It’s named for its long, narrow ridge, and is ideal for day hikers and even overnight backpacking. It offers thirteen miles of trails which follow the ‘backbone,’ with surrounding forested hollows.
